How to get in touch:

WorkWell supports people living with a mental or physical health condition, or disability, to start, and thrive in work.
We offer free support for people aged 16+ in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.
We can support you if you are recently unemployed (in the last three months), or if you would like support to continue working or to return to work.

Our appointments are flexible and we'll work together to meet your goals. Your free employment support includes:

Regular one-to-one sessions with your employment specialist.​​​

Help with job applications, CVs and interview skills.​​

Access to a Health at Work Coach.​​

Help to settle and flourish in your role.​​

Access to financial support to help you get back to work e.g. childcare, travel and supporting your health at work.​​

Meeting with your employer to talk about your needs at work.​​

Signposting to other support services.
Who can access our support:

To access our support, you need to be aged 16+ and living in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham or Sheffield.
You must have the right to work in the UK and either be currently employed (in work struggling or off sick) or recently unemployed (up to three months unemployed) and would like support to continue working or return to work.
The support can last up to 2 months, plus a further 2 months if you find a new job role whilst on our project.
Due to funding restrictions, WorkWell cannot support individuals who are currently accessing another DWP funded provision.

Who do we work with?
We work with individuals aged 16+ living with a mental or physical health condition or disability or identify as neurodivergent. We support individuals who are currently employed or recently unemployed (up to three months unemployed) who would like support to continue working or return to work. We also work with employers in South Yorkshire to reduce absence and support retention.

How to Join us?
WorkWell support is free and will not impact an individuals benefit claim. You can self refer or you can refer on behalf of an individual.

What areas of South Yorkshire do we cover?
The service supports people across all of South Yorkshire.
One-to-one sessions are held at a location convenient to the customer. Phone and virtual appointments are also available.

Support is provided in the community at a location convenient to the customer e.g. libraries, community centres, coffee shops etc.

Can we offer support to employers?
WorkWell works with employers by providing support to employees to help them stay in work.

When are we open?
The service is available Mon - Fri, 9am- 5pm.
