How to get in touch:
In partnership with Asda in Sheffield, we offer a supported internship provision for any young person with an Education, Health and Care Plan (ECHP). We have designed this programme to give you the opportunity to gain real-world work experience and help you achieve the marketable job skills employers are actively seeking. We’ll also help you to grow your confidence and independence, through our dedicated mentors who will be there to support and guide you.
At Nacro Education Sheffield we also offer a range of other full time and part time education courses, where you can learn in a way that suits you. Our individualised courses provide hands-on vocational qualifications, giving you the skills and experience you need to develop your career.
We tailor our teaching to your individual needs. Our courses are taught by experienced, qualified teachers, in a safe, friendly environment for all learners. Small class sizes mean we can provide each learner with the time and attention they deserve to support them throughout their studies.
We also offer learners the opportunity to expand their skills in preparation for further or higher levels of study through enrichment activities as part of our Skills Ready provision. For those wanting to start their career early, our Work Ready provision puts work experience at the heart of programme delivery.
We are England’s largest independent training provider of education and skills to 16–18 year-olds and are rated Good by Ofsted.
Who can access our support:
The support is for young people aged 16-19 or up to 25 with an Education, health and care plan.
Our education programmes last for a full academic year, but you can start at any time rather than just the traditional September intake.
However, the Supported Internship Programme at Asda is specifically a September start which last until; they find paid employment or the end of the academic year.
