Choices College is a specialist College providing tailored educational support, and a supported internship course for young adults aged 16-24 with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, and/ or Autism.

We partner with NHS healthcare settings, local organisations and private businesses to create supported work environments to provide real work experience for our Interns.

Our support is tailored to each Intern, based on their skills and interests.

​

Interns spend 1 year learning maths, English and employability skills and attend up to three, 12-week placements with a Choices College Partner.

To join Choices College, you must meet each of the following eligibility criteria:

 

  • Live within one of our current Local Authority Partnership areas (see our locations)

  • Be aged 16 – 24 years

  • Have an approved and active Education, Health and Care Plan

Where and how do we support people?

NHSE, Choices College (formerly known as Project Choice) is a specialist college run by Health Education England. Choices College provides tailored educational support, and a supported internship course for adults aged 16-24 with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, and/or Autism.

 

We partner with NHS healthcare settings, local organisations to create supported work environments to provide real work placements for our Interns. Our support is tailored to each intern and based on their skills and interests. Interns spend one year learning maths, English and employability skills.

 

Every intern attends up to three, 12-week placements with a Choices College Partner. Interns are supported with CV writing, interview preparation and support with applying for paid positions.
